Never Done Evolving

For Nike, I worked on the Serena Williams campaign “Never Done Evolving” which used machine learning to process all Serena Williams points ever recorded to demonstrate her singular evolution as the GOAT. It’s Serena vs. Serena. This piece won the Digital Craft Grand Prix at Cannes in 2023.

Nike50

For Nike’s year-long Nike50 campaign, I provided copy and creative services for Nike.com/stories as well as other international-facing activations under the umbrella of Nike’s Brand Defining Team. These projects include: Serena Williams’ “Never Done Evolving,” Tigerbelles, Rise of Women’s Football, the Department of Nike Archives, Pegasus 37 and Joan Benoit-Samuelson.

Talkin Tokyo, NBC Sports and Twitter

I wrote a 30-minute talk show for NBC called “Talkin Tokyo” which featured hosts LaChina Robinson and Adam Rippon. Featured guests included Olympians like Katie Ledecky, Suni Lee, Noah Lyles and Lilly King. Other guests included Maria Taylor, Mary Carillo and Vince Carter. My work at NBC was nominated for an Emmy in the Outstanding Live Special category.

Michael Norman x Nike “Play New”

Riding alongside design firm Public-Library once again, we worked on creative for Nike’s “Play New” campaign featuring the Olympian and track athlete Michael Norman. For my portion of the project, I contributed copy and scripting for a :15 second spot which lived on Nike.com and Instagram.

Downtime Magazine

For boxers-with-pockets startup Jambys, I serve as the editor-in-chief for their downtime-focused digital publication, Downtime Magazine. Downtime produces guides, recommendations and essays from some of the internet’s most beloved writers and personalities.

American Express / “Business Class”

For American Express, I worked with a team of writers to script a video series called “Business Class” featuring host Suneel Gupta. The series features interviews with prominent entrepreneurs as well as animated segments that illustrate business principles covered in the series.

Kelly Oubre x The Players Tribune

The Masters

I co-wrote a piece reflecting on Bubba Watson’s history at the Masters with the golfer himself. During the 2018 Masters Tournament, the piece was the highest-performing content on the Masters website until some dude named Tiger won the tournament.
